My First Post On PaulBlogger.com

Here's my first post on my new site http://www.paulblogger.com.  I have been meaning to create a personal site for blogging for quite a while and what better timing than the beginning of a new year!

This site was created to post thoughts I have about everything from, what's going on in the world to different hobbies and interests I have.  Sometimes they might be complete random thoughts... and that's the beauty of it being yours to do with it as you please.

I enjoy being outside but most of the time I am stuck inside, in front of my 27in iMac on the internet. When I am on the internet, I like to learn about emerging technologies.  I also focus my time on internet businesses and internet marketing.

Needless to say, the internet has grown tremendously in the past 5-10 years and is not going to slow down.  It's pretty obvious more and more people will connect on the internet for numerous reasons, some which we probably don't even understand yet.

I imagine a world where you are grocery shopping and you can't remember if you need milk so you pull out your handy smart phone, click a button and ask "Do I need milk?".  The phone then communicates with the refrigerator through the internet.  The refrigerator uses RFID tags that can tell if there is milk and when it was first put in the fridge.  The fridge quickly tells the smart phone if you do have milk and when you last purchased it.

That might sound crazy, but I'm confident it's coming soon.

Our cars will speak to us soon.  They will even allow parents one day to "spy" on their children.  Stuff like recording how fast they go, setting max speed limits on the car and even video cameras within the vehicle.  It will park itself for us, hit the brakes if we are about to hit the car in front of us and much more.

Anyways, as you can see I like technology and the future potential and possibilities it brings.

By the way, if anyone actually ends up reading these posts, I want to mention now that I suck at writing and it's one of the reasons I want to do this personal blog.  We all know the cheesy cliche: "Practice makes perfect!"  I pay others to do most of the writing for my businesses and I need to improve that skill, so here we are!

So as you can see this first post is random just like my ADHD brain.  :)  It was fun to write this post and it'll be the first of many.

I wish everyone a happy New Year!
